About these trainings

For over a decade, METRAC has been a leader in providing easy-to-understand legal information for women from diverse backgrounds and service providers across Ontario. This fall, we’re presenting a series of trainings about the specialized court system that deals with domestic assault. Geared to service providers and community leaders in the Greater Toronto Area, these sessions explore how Domestic Violence (DV) Courts are designed and operate in Ontario. Four half-day trainings with guest speakers who work in the criminal court system will give you a better understanding of these courts and the people who work with complainants in domestic assault cases. Come learn about how to better support women who are going through the courts that deal with domestic assault charges.

You can customize your registration by selecting one or more of these trainings. However, sessions are part of a series and they complement each other – we strongly recommend you attend all of them.
