  Community Greeting

Dear METRAC community,

We are thrilled to announce the launch of our newly updated legal information website, Ontario Women’s Justice Network (OWJN). After months of planning, consultation and hard work the new and improved OWJN is now live. For decades, OWJN has provided legal information on issues related to violence against women, such as family law and criminal law. Now, the site is more user-friendly and has lots of new features. We welcome you to visit it, as well as click this link to watch our short video and learn what’s new about the OWJN!

Best wishes,

P.S.: March 31 is Transgender Day of Visibility! Read this article for 10 things you can do today and every day to show support for the trans community.

Request a Community or Youth Safety Audit

infographic with statistics from data gathered in Safety Audits in 2015

METRAC’s Community and Youth Safety Audits bring together diverse community members to share what they experience and know about violence in their neighbourhoods. Through safety training and auditing, groups can identify their concerns in a safety report, make safety plans, and take steps to address local safety needs. To request a safety audit in your community, contact safety@metrac.org.
