Vision for The Station, Ontario’s first Violence Prevention Centre for Women and Youth

“That is awesome what you are doing!” (METRAC email list member)

We are working with like-minded organizations in prevention, education, health, settlement, housing and law to turn our dream of establishing “The Station” Violence Prevention Centre into a reality. It will help women and youth:

  • build financial freedom from violence
  • get holistic health support
  • access justice and know their legal rights
  • find housing, reduce risks of homelessness and settle safely into Canadian life
  • build safety from violence and harassment where they live, work, study and play
