We are pleased to invite community members to METRAC’s 2017 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on October 30, 2017, from 6pm to 8:30pm, when we report back on our 2016 activities. We will gather at Buddies in Bad Times Theatre, Cabaret Room (12 Alexander Street, Toronto, ON), located between College and Wellesley subway station.
This is a good time to become a member of METRAC, renew your membership, or apply to volunteer with the organization.
Come out and meet METRAC supporters and friends, board members, staff, volunteers and students and learn about our programs, ask questions, discuss actions we have taken in 2016, to end gender based violence in the city and province.
There is also an opportunity to vote for new and continuing Board members, as well vote for the appointment of METRAC’s auditor.
We have planned a special presentation by Dr. Lori Haskell, a leading scholar and clinical psychology practitioner whose research has focused on trauma and how the lack of understanding of the dynamics of trauma can be a barrier to justice for survivors of sexual violence.
Together we can build a world without gender-based violence!
To RSVP and to request accessibility requirements, please email firstname.lastname@example.org by October 25th, 2017.
