Hours of Operation: Monday-Thursday 9am-2pm. The library is not open to the public but service providers and other professionals may make an appointment. It also maintains a searchable database of publications from government, other community legal clinics and community organizations and welcomes requests from anyone for a bibliography or referral to other sources of information.
CLEO is a community legal clinic that publishes and distributes clear language (some multilingual) public legal education materials in the areas listed above for persons with low incomes and other marginalized groups. Most of CLEO's publications are available are free. They may be ordered from their website or by phone or fax.

The Elizabeth Fry Society of Toronto provides a transitional residential program for women coming out of federal and provincial prisons. Counseling and practical assistance in a supportiveenvironment are available to its residential clients, to women currently in prison, and to women who have been in prison and are now living in the community.
Services include release planning, crisis intervention, and counseling programs for substance abuse, parenting, shoplifting/fraud, sexual abuse as well as referrals to lawyers and other resources in and around the Toronto area.
In addition, this organization has a volunteer program and hosts fundraising and community relations projects.

New Directions assists and befriends separated, divorced or widowed women in a gay positive environment. It provides information, referrals, peer support and a widows' drop-in service. This organization hosts evening and Saturday workshops, free weekly legal clinics and evening support groups.

Sheena's Place is a community center that provides a variety of traditional and non-traditional services. It does advocacy work, educational work, support work and acts as a linkage to other services. Sheena's Place also offers services for people affected by eating disorders and related body image and food issues, including those with eating disorders, their families and friends, professionals and educators.

The Toronto Rape Crisis Centre/ Multicultural Women Against Rape offers free and fully confidential services to sexual assault/abuse survivors, their friends and their family. Women's Health In Women's Hands is a pro-choice, multi-lingual, participatory community health centre for immigrant and/or refugee women, women with disabilities, young women and older women in Toronto. Within these groups, the Centre prioritizes low-income black women and women of colour in particular women from Caribbean, African, Latin American and South Asian communities. Services include well woman care, individual counselling and advocacy support, healthy living programs, nutritional health promotion and health education workshops and presentations.
