Gender and Racial Profiling: Reclaiming Our Narratives is a free conference coming up on Saturday November 28. It will be held at Osgoode Hall Law School (4700 Keele Street, Toronto) from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

This conference centres on the many ways gender impacts racial profiling and will highlight often silenced and hidden stories. It will address the unique realities of gender and racial profiling in the Jane-Finch community and will be the first of a series of events on gender and racial profiling across Toronto. Lunch, tokens, American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation, gender-neutral washrooms and a dedicated space for self-care and child-minding will be provided at this wheelchair-accessible venue.

Find more information on the event Facebook page. Registration is required before November 28, and attendees who need child-minding must register by November 23. You can register online by Survey Monkey or call METRAC at 416-392-3031.
