Between July 13 and 20, Scadding Court Community Centre’s Market 707 (corner of Bathurst and Dundas) will display over 100 unique, sassy and community-created warning messages that counter and disrupt rape mythology and highlight gaps in our systems to deal with sexual violence. Come to experience what others have made and create your own to share with Toronto! Learn more about the SIS Project
Thank you to the 130 people who developed these posters and messages on issues such as rape, sex education, body integrity, Transphobia and masculinity. They include community members involved with Christie Ossington Neighbourhood Centre, Native Canadian Centre of Toronto, Scadding Court Community Centre, Sistering, Women’s Residence and St. Stephen’s Community Centre, York University, University of Toronto and Ryerson University.
