Bowling 4 Change 2007 Bowling 4 Change 2007On Saturday November 24, 4:00-6:00 PM, METRAC held its annual bowlathon at the Bowlerama West and raised $12,000 in support of METRAC's ReAct youth program. Over 100 people participated as bowlers, Team captains, volunteers, and pledgers! 2007 Bowling 4 Change Lane Sponsors were: Canadian Auto Workers, Lerners LLP, and Wilson Christen LLP Barristers. METRAC would like to thank everyone who participated in the bowlathon and to our generous donors and sponsors. 2007 Lerners Balancing the Scales: Making Justice Work for Women FundraiserLerners Balancing the Scales: Making Justice Work for Women, a fundraiser for METRAC’s Justice Program, was held on Thursday May 10 at 6:30 pm at the SPIN Gallery (1100 Queen Street West). $15,000 was raised to allow METRAC to enhance legal trainings for community service providers and improve the Ontario Women's Justice Network, in order to increase access to justice for women experiencing violence.
